Privacy Policy!!!

What we collect, why, and how we protect it!!!

Last updated: June 2026. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Lucitech collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Please read it carefully so you understand our practices.

1. Scope

This policy covers visitors to our site, customers who purchase our services, and prospective leads who contact us. It does not cover the customer-hosted websites we build — each site owner is responsible for their own privacy disclosures to their own visitors.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several categories of information in the course of providing our service:

  • 2.1 Site Creation Information: business name, description, services, products, pricing, contact info, hours, locations, photos, logos, and marketing materials. This information is intended for publication on your website, so please do not submit anything you want kept private.
  • 2.2 Payment Information: payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe. Lucitech does not store full card numbers or CVV codes — only limited billing details such as the last four digits and transaction history.
  • 2.3 Agent Service Communications: messages sent via iMessage, text, or the Agent Service ("Kai") are retained for at least six months and potentially indefinitely, and are kept confidential except when shared with other authorized members of your account.
  • 2.4 Automatically Collected Information: IP address, browser type, operating system, referral sources, and navigation patterns.
  • 2.5 Analytics and Tracking: Google Analytics, using cookies and similar technologies, to understand site usage.
  • 2.6 Cookies: both first-party and third-party cookies. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to design and build your website, process payments, communicate with customers, respond to leads, send service announcements, secure our platform, comply with legal obligations, and protect our rights and those of others.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate our service:

  • 4.1 Service Providers: Google Cloud Platform, Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services (SES), Stripe, BlueBubbles, and AI providers (currently Anthropic and Google/Gemini).
  • 4.2 AI Processing: the content of communications and materials may be transmitted to these providers for processing.
  • 4.3 Account-Level Access: communications may be accessible to other authorized members of your business account.
  • 4.4 Legal Requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process.
  • 4.5 Business Transfers: information may transfer as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice provided where legally required.

5. Data Retention

Active customer data is kept for the duration of the service period. Site content is deleted within 30 days after termination unless the customer archives it themselves. Agent Service communications are kept for at least six months and potentially indefinitely, billing and tax records for at least seven years, and marketing data until you opt out. Data we are legally required to keep persists in accordance with FTC, IRS, and Florida requirements.

6. Marketing Communications

Service announcements are mandatory because they relate to the operation of your account. Marketing communications are optional — you can opt out at any time via an unsubscribe link or by contacting us, and leads can opt out via unsubscribe links as well. This two-tier approach lets you decline marketing while continuing to receive required service notifications.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to and correction of your personal data. We honor deletion requests except where retention is legally mandated, and you may opt out of marketing at any time. To make a verified request, contact Lucitech, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Data Security

We protect information using encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), access controls, and reputable third-party providers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and any transmission of information occurs at your own risk.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and legally capable adults. Lucitech does not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13, and we will delete any child data that is inadvertently collected upon notice.

10. Geographic Scope

Lucitech currently serves U.S. customers only. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be stored and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

11. Third-Party Links and Hosted Sites

Lucitech is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites or of the customer-hosted sites we build. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party independently.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes are communicated by email to active customers or by posting on the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
